Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed food production lines. You will lead troubleshooting, train Electro-Mechanics, and oversee maintenance across shifts, ensuring GMP and safety standards.
The role requires a high school diploma with extensive industrial controls experience; an Associate's degree and CMMS exposure are a plus.
Qualifications
- Extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, schematics and maintenance manuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
- Valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures.
- Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs and drives.
- Support plant utilities and ensure GMP, safety, and quality standards.
