Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a seasoned Controls Technician for our Swedesboro bakery. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines, providing technical leadership and training to Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls experience.
• Experience reading machine layouts, P&IDs, schematics, and interconnection drawings.
• Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs, system configurations, and equipment documentation.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.
