Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician for a large commercial bakery in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain, troubleshoot and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed food production lines, providing technical leadership across shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma with extensive industrial controls experience; proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi software; ability to read schematics;

Qualifications

• High school diploma with extensive industrial controls experience.
• Experience reading P&IDs, schematics and control drawings.
• Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens and Mitsubishi software for programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
