Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is hiring Controls Technicians for a large commercial bakery in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain, troubleshoot and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed food production lines, and provide technical leadership and training to Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
The role requires experience with electrical schematics, PLCs, drives, and networks, plus the ability to read manuals and drawings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
- Proficiency reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and system drawings.
- Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, configuration, and troubleshooting software.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
- Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
