Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor in Fargo, ND to lead the Controls Technicians while continuing hands-on controls work. You’ll mentor, coordinate projects, and partner with SCADA, PLC, and database specialists to integrate advanced automated equipment.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, collaborative leadership, and the ability to drive on-time project delivery. You will build a high-performing team that takes ownership of work and delivers reliable manufacturing

Qualifications

A four-year degree, and 1–2 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Project management skills and the ability to execute work according to established timelines.
Strong, proactive communication, training, and mentoring skills.
The ability to create a collaborative team environment and empower others to take ownership of assigned work.

Responsibilities

Lead Controls Technicians and coordinate project work across teams.
Mentor team, plan workloads, delegate tasks, and resolve concerns.
Research, install, test automation control systems to improve efficiency.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues; recommend preventive maintenance.
Manage projects and timelines, provide end-user training.
Liaise with vendors to ensure equipment meets Marvin specs; build cross-department relationships.
