Job summary

HNTB in Nashville is seeking a Controls Task Lead to support the CHYM program, a city-led transportation modernization effort. You will manage schedule, cost, risk and document controls across multiple project phases, coordinating with schedulers and project teams to ensure timely, data-driven decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field and 6+ years of experience, or 10 years’ equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternative: 10 years' relevant experience or 6 years' direct contractor experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze master project schedules, baseline schedules, progress schedules and schedule updates.
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and change management reports; produce regular budget/cost reports.
• Oversee PMCS and document controls for engineering, procurement and construction documentation.
• Establish project controls procedures across cost estimating, budgeting, scheduling, document control, reporting, risk management and claims analysis.
• Assess cost/schedule impacts of design/construction changes and propose recovery plans.
