Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Controls Technician to perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting on production equipment. You will collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor, observe equipment, and use PLC software to resolve electrical and mechanical issues.

The role includes documenting repairs in the plant’s EAM system and ensuring accurate set-points and parameters are recorded. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a related role and an associate’s degree in a technical field, with preferred

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production machines.
• Observe equipment and provide feedback to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Use PLC programming software to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment.
• Document repairs and PM maintenance in the work order system (EAM).
• Record set-points and parameters accurately for equipment.
