Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production machinery and to provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor. The role emphasizes documentation in the EAM system and safe, proactive problem solving.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in a similar role, an associate degree in a technical field, and the ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a closely related role.
• Associate degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.
• Recent disciplines within the last 6 months may affect eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor before implementing control changes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues on production equipment.
• Monitor equipment for hazards and service needs.
• Document repairs and PM activities in the work order system (EAM).
• Back up PLC programs and record set-points and parameters precisely.
