Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Controls Technician to handle basic tasks on production machines, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and observe equipment to support the Maintenance Supervisor. You will document repairs and programming changes, and collaborate with the maintenance team to improve controls across the plant.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in a related role, a technical associate degree, and licenses for forklift and aerial platforms. Proficiency with EAM and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production machines.
• Observe equipment and provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Document repairs, PM activities, and set-points in the work system.
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and PLC programming changes.
