Job summary
Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled on-site technician to install, configure and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems across packaging lines. You will work with photo eyes, proximity sensors, limit switches, and I/O modules, while supporting 480V 3-phase power and servo drives.
Responsibilities include HMI/PLC programming, ladder logic changes, and regular preventive maintenance on conveyors and production equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with PLCs and servo systems required.
- Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Understanding of lockout/tagout and confined spaces safety preferred.
- Willing to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and wiring.
- Troubleshoot analog and digital controls in 480V, 3-phase power distribution systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; ladder logic modifications as needed.
- Diagnose communication protocols including Profibus, serial and industrial Ethernet.
- Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment.
