E Tech Group is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a growing team delivering automated control systems across clients in life sciences, metals, and distribution sectors. The role requires hands-on design, mentoring, and strategic growth with strong stakeholder interaction.

The position is onsite in Sunnyvale with up to 30% travel, offering growth potential and a clear path to leadership within a national engineering organization.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration
• 3+ years managing and leading a team
• Experience with PLC/SCADA/hmi programming
• Willingness to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and resources
• Design and implement integrated electrical and control systems
• Collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field service
• Manage project budget and schedule requirements
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L for the team
• Specify hardware, instrumentation, PLCs, and control panels
• Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks
• Develop test procedures and client-facing deliverables
• Engage with key clients to ensure satisfaction and growth
