Job summary

E Tech Group seeks a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team in delivering advanced electrical and control systems for multiple projects. This onsite role requires coordinating with executives, sales, and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strong client engagement.

You will mentor engineers, design PLC/SCADA networks, and manage budgets while driving growth across facilities and industries.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent educational background.
• 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration industry.
• 3+ years managing and leading a team.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growth plan with Executive Management, Sales, and Marketing to drive business growth.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical resources for project delivery.
• Design and implementation of integrated electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.
• Manage project budgets and schedule requirements.
• Drive the profit & loss (P&L) of the team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Specify and configure hardware components such as instrumentation, PLCs, communication systems and industrial control panels.
• Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks.
• Generate test procedures and forms.
• Meet with key clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded and to drive growth.
• Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values and supports associate development.
