Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a growing team of engineers and technical resources. This role will drive the design and integration of electrical and control systems across multiple projects, coordinating with engineering, design, production, and field service staff to ensure successful delivery.

You will partner with executive management, sales, and marketing to develop growth plans, manage budgets and schedule, and mentor a capable, hands-on team focused on

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration.
• 3+ years managing and leading a team.
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming in one or more languages (Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Rockwell).
• Knowledge of instrumentation and process controls instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth plans with executive leadership, Sales, and Marketing.
• Mentor and lead a team of engineers and technical resources.
• Design and implement integrated electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field staff.
• Manage project budgets and scheduling requirements; drive P&L for the team.
• Specify and configure hardware like instrumentation, PLCs, and panels.
• Design PLC/SCADA networks and generate tests.
• Meet with key clients to ensure satisfaction and growth.
