Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. seeks a Manager, Global Component Engineering to lead a global team responsible for development, qualification, and lifecycle management of engineered components across BAC product lines.

The role focuses on reducing supply chain risk, qualifying backup suppliers, and ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance while partnering with Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years engineering experience with product development preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead global component engineering and qualification processes.
• Establish and govern component qualification standards and test plans.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain to qualify alternate suppliers.
• Drive cost-out initiatives through design optimization and sourcing.
• Lead on-time completion of qualification projects and design changes.
• Provide technical leadership for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Coach and develop a global team of engineers and designers.
