Job summary

Vertiv in the United States seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the post-sales Controls Engineering team, take over projects from pre-sales, and manage technical execution from design through delivery to the customer. You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines for integrated modular data-center solutions and support client management and business development.

Travel 15-20% domestically, ensure designs meet quality and budget targets, and mentor engineers while fostering innovation

Qualifications

6+ years engineering and management experience.
Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and SolidWorks.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Understanding of NEC, NBC, IBC and NFPA70.

Responsibilities

Lead post-sales controls engineering team from design through delivery.
Ensure designs meet Vertiv quality standards within budget.
Coordinate structural, architectural, thermal, electrical, mechanical, and BMS/Controls disciplines.
Collaborate with internal units and third-party suppliers to select equipment.
Interface with customer teams to align design with requirements.
Support site operations and commissioning activities, including root-cause analysis.
Travel 15-20% to sites for reviews and field engineering support.
Develop and improve engineering plans and procedures.
