Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio, is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the post-sales Controls Engineering team and oversee design-to-delivery on data center projects.

You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, manage budgets, support business development, and ensure compliance with NEC/NBC/IBC.

This role requires 6+ years of engineering and management experience, strong leadership, and CAD proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering and management experience.
• Excellent organization skills and detail orientation.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications.
• Understanding of NEC, NBC, IBC, NFPA70, etc.

Responsibilities

• Post-sales Controls Engineering team leadership and project execution from design through delivery.
• Lead the team to meet quality requirements within budget.
• Coordinate Electrical, Structural, Thermal, Mechanical, Fire Detection and other disciplines with internal and third-party engineers.
• Work with Vertiv units and suppliers to select equipment meeting requirements.
• Interact with customer and permitting agents to support approvals and site work.
• Coordinate with general contractor to manage site activities.
