Job summary

Sciemetric Integrated Systems Division seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to design electrical and pneumatic control systems, specify components, and develop PLC/HMI code for automated test equipment.

You will lead control system design, select hardware, and create diagrams to meet customer specifications, with emphasis on startup, debugging, and ensuring equipment performance stands.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in control system design of automation and industrial equipment.
• Experience with PLC programming and machine startup/debug.
• Pneumatic systems design and project management skills are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare circuit diagrams to represent the system.
• Create and document BOM for system hardware.
• Startup and debug of designed control system.
• Develop and debug HMI software.
• Ensure that the equipment is designed, built and performs to standard.
