Keurig Dr Pepper (Ottumwa, IA) is seeking a Principal Automation Control Engineer to lead PLC/SCADA standardization, advance automation initiatives, and mentor technicians. You will collaborate with operations, IT, and third-party teams to implement innovative solutions and ensure robust manufacturing systems.

The role requires extensive PLC/SCADA experience, industrial automation know-how, and a strategic mindset to drive predictive analytics and IIoT projects within a large beverage

Competenze

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Industrial Automation experience in manufacturing.
• Extensive PLC programming experience; Rockwell FactoryTalk suite, Logix platform, and Allen-Bradley networks.
• Good working knowledge of SCADA/HMI systems (GE iFix and Ignition).
• 5+ years of process/packaging automation experience.
• Knowledge of variable speed and servo drives; robotics control systems (GE-Fanuc).
• Understanding of computers and industrial networks.

• Lead PLC/SCADA standardization across the manufacturing network.
• Provide technical support to operations and project teams to solve problems and improve productivity.
• Support standardization of manufacturing data collection and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with internal and 3rd party teams to drive issues to resolution.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives like predictive analytics, IIoT, and advanced automation concepts.
• Coordinate with IT to patch and update manufacturing applications and servers.
• Work with IT to deliver OT cybersecurity improvements.
• Maintain controls and automation equipment standards.
• Partner with maintenance and operations to create training and troubleshooting guides.
