Job summary

ZF Group in Gray Court, South Carolina, seeks a Plant Engineer Quality Supervisor to coordinate Assembly Quality Processes and respond to production quality issues, driving strong quality culture and customer satisfaction.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams, and focus on ISO/IATF compliance, PFMEA and control plans to sustain high-quality production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with gears (manufacture and quality)
• 8-10+ years in a manufacturing or technical environment
• Experience directing work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Strong knowledge of problem solving methodologies and techniques
• 4+ years in a quality-related role
• Experience in a leadership position (team in charge)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical solutions related to Assembly Quality Processes and act as first responder to quality issues in production
• Promote and ensure product quality and a quality culture to support customer satisfaction
• Monitor manufacturing processes and assess product quality for compliance with customer specifications and company standards
• Develop and maintain quality documents and procedures (audits, recalls, complaints, scrap, rework)
• Collaborate with Quality Engineer, Product and Manufacturing Engineering to determine critical part features and manufacturability
• Contribute to Advanced Product Quality Planning and selection of measurement systems during new tool/startup
• Participate in FMEA development
• Ensure Control Plans are available and updated throughout the life of the part
