Job summary
Staff Financial Group in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead development and implementation of advanced automated systems across multiple production lines. This hands-on role focuses on design, integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechatronic and control systems on the factory floor.
You will collaborate with IT, MES, and maintenance teams, driving safety, reliability, and scalability while introducing emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or related field.
- Proven track record leading complex automation projects.
- Mentor engineers and maintenance personnel to resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC programs (Allen-Bradley & Mitsubishi).
- Lead large automation projects from scope through commissioning, including budgets and schedules.
- Implement preventative maintenance and continuous improvement for controls equipment.
