Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller, through BW Design Group, is seeking a Controls Engineer II (EPMS) in Dallas to lead commissioning and integration of BMS/EPMS for AI-driven data centers in Abilene and Haskell, TX. You will deploy Ignition applications, configure equipment protocols, and perform site checkout with engineering teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of control systems startup experience, with 75% onsite work and willingness to travel or relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience starting up control systems with significant onsite time.
• Experience with BMS and EPMS commissioning is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful deployment of EPMS and BMS scopes for data centers.
• Receive applications from design team and deploy to each site.
• Perform Point-to-Point checkout of devices and configure communication protocols.
