Design Group seeks a Controls Engineer III (BMS) to lead I&C for AI-driven data centers in TX. You will deploy BMS/EPMS, configure devices, and commission systems across sites, with heavy onsite work and travel potential.

You’ll guide subcontractors and coordinate with design teams to ensure robust, reliable control architectures. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years’ startup experience, and strong communication within large teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience starting up control systems with significant onsite time.
• Must be able to spend substantial time onsite (75%).
• Willingness to travel 100% or relocate near the site (relocation assistance available).
• Strong communication skills; ability to work in large teams.
• Experience with BMS and EPMS commissioning is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure successful deployment of multiple greenfield data centers (BMS/EPMS).
• Receive applications from design team and deploy to each site.
• Point-to-point checkout of thousands of devices.
• Configure communication protocols for equipment incl. switchgear/breakers.
• Configure and calibrate instruments (meters, VFDs, flow meters).
• Deploy and commission Ignition applications.
• Provide guidance/leadership to subcontractors onsite.
