Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of controls/automation experience.
• Expert-level Ignition SCADA capabilities.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and B&R PLCs.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and automation integration.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide controls engineering and technical support to manufacturing operations in troubleshooting, rebuilding, and repairing electrical equipment and automated systems.
• Design, select, and install new equipment and systems to improve manufacturing operations.
• Develop PLC programs in Structured Text or Ladder Logic to optimize OEE and production reliability.
• Create and maintain controls and networking documentation for equipment and systems.
• Develop system architecture, PLC logic, and HMI interfaces for production equipment.
• Lead projects from concept through commissioning, including specs, drawings, and validation.
• Design machine control systems and integrated automation including robotics and servo controls.
• Lead Ignition SCADA enhancements, dashboards, and system-wide troubleshooting.
• Provide training and guidance to reliability technicians and assist in SOP development.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams for seamless implementation.
