Job summary

Southern Integrated Solutions and Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Controls System Engineer to design and deploy advanced control and SCADA solutions, including Ignition systems. You will modify logic across multiple platforms, engage with customers to define project scope, and support FAT/SAT and on-site commissioning.

Qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of related experience with industrial protocols and ControlLogix/FTView Ignition.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in automation and control systems.
• Experience implementing Ignition SCADA systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced control systems and SCADA solutions.
• Modify logic across multiple systems and subsystems.
• Interact with customers to define scope, plans, and deliverables.
• Lead FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning activities.
• Travel up to 60% to customer sites.
