Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Ignition SCADA Engineer to design, develop, and support industrial automation solutions. The role emphasizes Ignition SCADA, SQL Server, Python, and C#, with experience integrating PLCs and HMIs across enterprise systems.

The engineer will design SCADA applications, build dashboards, and ensure cybersecurity best practices while collaborating with IT and operations teams to deliver reliable manufacturing automation.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Ignition SCADA, SQL Server, Python and C#.
• Experience integrating PLCs, HMIs, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SCADA apps using Inductive Automation Ignition (Vision, Perspective, Gateway).
• Configure and manage Ignition tags, alarms, historians, and reporting modules.
• Develop real-time dashboards and visualizations for manufacturing operations.
• Integrate Ignition SCADA with PLCs, HMIs, and enterprise applications.
• Create and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and queries.
