RTX is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and deploy Ignition SCADA systems for manufacturing hardware. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, and Engineering to define requirements, integrate with PLCs and HMIs, and develop robust automation solutions.

The role requires strong programming skills (Python/Java), PLC experience, and proven project management in a manufacturing setting. Safety and on-time delivery are emphasized.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, or 3 years with advanced degree.
• Extensive Ignition SCADA experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial networking.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and Ladder Logic.
• Strong project management skills.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and deploy complex Ignition SCADA systems for manufacture of hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define requirements and specifications.
• Integrate Ignition systems with PLCs, HMIs, databases, and other control systems.
• Configure Ignition software to meet project requirements, including custom scripts.
• Design and implement control systems, including PLC programming and hardware selection.
• Develop and test software solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Design, develop, and optimize machine automation solutions.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Materials and Engineering to troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze processes and identify automation opportunities across teams.
• Ensure safety standards and best practices in manufacturing are followed.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
