Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer for the Fleet Remediation Engineering team to lead BMS and EPMS retrofit projects across AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial or commercial engineering for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Controls or 5+ years equivalent in building automation systems (BMS) and/or EPMS design.
• 2+ years in data center/control systems including BMS/EPMS and HVAC/ mechanical plant strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls design and integration for mechanical and electrical retrofit projects across the data center fleet.
• Develop and maintain controls design standards, specifications, and SOWs for retrofit projects.
• Collaborate with FRE engineers, construction teams, and operations to deliver integrated controls solutions.
• Serve as central technical authority for BMS/EPMS within FRE and manage/control scopes across projects.
• Perform design reviews identifying risks and optimization opportunities in monitoring/automation.
