Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an exceptional Controls Design Engineer to join the Data Center Global Services (DCGS) Controls Design Engineering team. You will own BMS/EPMS design standards, CPLs and Basis of Design documents across AWS data centers, coordinating with internal and external teams on new builds, retrofits and legacy projects.

You will drive cost reductions, lead critical engineering efforts, and travel globally to support initiatives, with a strong focus on safety, reliability

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers or power facilities.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical systems installation startup/commissioning.
• Knowledge of building operations, control diagrams, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop BMS/EPMS controls standards for global projects.
• Create, maintain SOWs, specifications and Basis of Design documents.
• Coordinate with project teams and manage vendor bid processes and submittals.
• Support on-call rotations and travel globally to manage initiatives.
