Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Deployment Engineer to lead BMS and EPMS deployment within AWS data centers. You will manage vendor scope, develop improvement scopes, coordinate stakeholders and ensure compliance with design and electrical codes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations with electrical/mechanical knowledge.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope and schedule of BMS and EPMS vendors during AWS data center construction.
• Develop scope of work for site improvement projects.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliverables in complex settings.
• Review controls sequences of operation and provide feedback to design.
• Manage BMS/EPMS contracts and procurement activities (RFQs, RFIs, PO issuance).
• Review BMS/EPMS submittals comprehensively.
• Participate in AWS on-call to support BMS/EPMS in-service data centers.
• Ensure BMS/EPMS deployment aligns with SOW and specifications.
• Review and provide feedback on MEP drawings and BOMs.
• Attend meetings, report status to Controls Management, work to tight timelines.
• Interpret controls drawings, wiring diagrams and BOMs; modify logic and GUI as needed.
• Support commissioning activities in the field and visit data centers locally.
