Job summary

CyberOne, a growing cybersecurity solutions company in Plano, TX, seeks a Controller to lead accounting operations, close processes, and financial reporting. You will partner with the CFO and department leaders to provide accurate financial insights and ensure GAAP compliance.

You will oversee cash, A/P, A/R, and general ledger activities while coaching two accounting professionals. This hybrid role requires strong technical accounting and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and full-cycle accounting.
• Experience leading monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel or similar tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and proper accounting policies.
• Prepare and present monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and management reports.
• Partner with department leaders to drive financial accountability and insights.
• Support external auditors and maintain audit-ready records.
