TX Recruiting in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a global cybersecurity firm. This hands-on leadership role owns the general ledger, month-end close, and the audit process while building scalable controls for a fast-growing, multi-entity business.

Based in Plano with hybrid, remote flexibility part of the week, you’ll lead the accounting team, optimize close cycles, and partner with operations to translate financial data into strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of accounting operations experience.
• Proficient with Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with ERP and Sage/QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting team with clear priorities.
• Own month-end and year-end close and variance analysis.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead audit readiness and coordination of schedules.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant daily transactions and controls.
• Strengthen policies, workflows, and internal controls.
• Introduce automation and reporting tools to speed the close.
• Track cash flow, trends, and working capital.
• Partner with operations to translate data into decisions.
