Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is conducting a search for an experienced Controller on behalf of a well-established government contractor. The position is based in Chevy Chase, MD, onsite, with a compensation range of $170,000-$190,000.

As Controller, you will direct all accounting operations, lead a 10-12 person team, and ensure close, reporting, and compliance with FAR/CAS and DCAA requirements. The role requires U.S. citizenship and direct government contracting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Prior Controller experience within a government contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, DCAA compliance, and government contract accounting.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, JAMIS, or similar ERP systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
