Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide accounting operations across multiple business units and locations.
- Oversee the consolidated month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Direct consolidated financial reporting and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Partner closely with executive leadership on financial strategy, accounting policies, and organizational initiatives.
- Mentor and develop Controllers and accounting leaders across the organization.
- Lead financial integration efforts related to acquisitions, including systems, reporting, controls, and accounting processes.
- Establish scalable accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices across multiple entities.
- Manage external audit activities and relationships.
- Drive ERP optimization, automation initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
- Provide financial insights and analysis that support strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
- Prior Controller experience within a multi-entity or multi-site organization.
- Strong background in consolidations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience leading accounting teams across multiple locations.
- Experience working in private equity-backed, high-growth, or acquisition-driven organizations.
- M&A integration experience, including financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration, is highly desirable.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
