Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing organization to identify a Controller to join its leadership team. The role offers high visibility with executive leadership and a mandate to drive accounting transformation in a fast-growth setting.

The ideal candidate has progressive leadership experience at the controller/director/assistant controller level, with strong multi-entity expertise, ERP project exposure, and a background in acquisitions or rapid expansion. CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Progressive leadership experience in controller/director/ASSistant Controller roles.
• Experience leading multi-entity accounting and close processes.
• Exposure to ERP implementations or system transformations.
• Experience supporting acquisitions or rapid growth.
• CPA and/or public accounting background is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations across multiple entities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Own and enhance month-end and year-end close processes.
• Drive accounting process improvements and standardization.
• Support ERP implementations and transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations across multiple entities
• Lead and develop a growing accounting team, including existing staff and future hires
• Own and enhance the month-end and year-end close processes
• Drive accounting process improvements and standardization initiatives
• Support a major ERP implementation and related transformation efforts
• Assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses
• Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic and operational initiatives
• Strengthen internal controls, reporting processes, and accounting infrastructure
• Help design and build a scalable accounting organization for future growth

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally in a Controller, Director of Accounting, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager capacity
• Strong multi-entity accounting experience
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Exposure to ERP implementations, system upgrades, or process transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or rapidly growing organizations is highly preferred
• CPA and/or public accounting background are a plus.
• Strong technical accounting expertise
• Independent, self-directed, and solutions-oriented
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven people leadership experience
