Job summary

CFS is seeking a hands-on Controller for a growing adhesives group with global operations. You will lead financial reporting, consolidation, and close processes while partnering with corporate and regional leadership to drive growth.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of accounting leadership, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and excels at cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. This is a visible role at a growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a key financial liaison between corporate leadership and regional operations.
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable financial reporting.
• Oversee financial consolidation across multiple entities.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insight that supports business and operational decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Help drive a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally as a Controller or Director of Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across multiple teams and locations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with both corporate and operational stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
