Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior financial manager to oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting to ensure GAAP compliance. You will manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and relationships with banking partners while guiding a finance team and maintaining internal controls.

Responsibilities include audit coordination, investment tracking, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Strong Excel and finance software skills are essential for success.

Job Details

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
• Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
• Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally.
• Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
• Leverage strengths of the finance team members, help to clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop and implement training programs to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.
• Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or related designation is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Proficient user of finance software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

• High level of proficiency in Excel and other financial planning software.
• Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
• Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
