LeoForce in Huntersville, NC is seeking an experienced Permanent Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasts, and the development of internal control policies.

The successful candidate will direct financial strategy, supervise accounting teams, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide monthly statements and cash flow projections to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • 5+ years in a senior finance role and GAAP expertise.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Our company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This is a unique opportunity to join a progressive, high-growth company in a role that will be critical to our continued success.

Responsibilities
  • 1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
  • 2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, CFO and Senior Management.
  • 3. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
  • 4. Supervise the investment and cash management strategies of the company.
  • 5. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
  • 6. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • 7. Oversee the production of monthly reports, financial statements and cash flow projections for use by executive management.
  • 8. Establish and maintain relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
  • 9. Review all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures.
Qualifications
  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • 2. 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
  • 3. Experience in QuickBooks is required.
  • 4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • 5. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • 6. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • 7. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • 8. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • 9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 10. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • 11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
