Job summary

Madison-Davis, LLC is partnering with a $300M private equity-backed healthcare services organization to hire a hands-on Controller for its growing corporate finance team in the Franklin/Brentwood area.

The role reports to senior finance leadership and offers the opportunity to own the accounting function, build out finance infrastructure, and drive modernization. Expect a meaningful leadership position with equity upside and visibility to senior management.

Qualifications

• Healthcare accounting experience required.
• Controller-level experience with hands-on accounting.
• Strong GAAP, revenue recognition, close, and audit experience.
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Healthcare revenue cycle / reimbursement exposure strongly preferred.
• EMS/ambulance experience would be attractive.
• Public accounting + industry experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Lead revenue recognition and technical accounting, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting and consolidated financial reporting.
• Manage the annual audit and external auditor relationships.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Drive accounting process, systems, controls, and reporting improvements.
• Support M&A and acquisition integration activities.
• Help centralize and scale the accounting organization.

This is a true, hands‑on Controller seat reporting into senior finance leadership, with the opportunity to own the accounting function and play a major role in building out and modernizing the company’s finance infrastructure.
