This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking accounting leader with strong cost and inventory experience who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and serve as a true business partner to operations and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting leadership experience; Controller or Assistant Controller experience preferred.
• Strong cost and inventory accounting background.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to improve processes and challenge the status quo.
• Collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a business-partner mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Lead cost and inventory accounting, including costing, variances, valuation, and controls.
• Analyze margins, profitability, inventory trends, and operational performance.
• Partner with leadership and operations on strategic business decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiencies.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
