Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Control Systems Engineer II to support engineering design, reviews, and configuration of control systems for large industrial gas turbines across the Americas.

You will troubleshoot, configure HMIs, and provide on-site and remote technical support, including FAT/SAT, start-up, and training under senior engineers. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher and relevant control discipline experience.
• Experience with DCS/PLC and associated control logic and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industrial networking and control system CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and review new control system concepts and assist in development.
• Maintain and modify existing control systems to meet project needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project execution.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and authorities within cost/time constraints.
• Configure control system HMIs and databases as required.
• Support FAT/SAT testing and on-site commissioning activities.
• Provide start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting support for equipment.
• Prepare reports and capture root-cause analyses for issues.
