Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Controls Design Engineer II in Orlando to design and enhance control systems for gas turbine applications.

You will handle proposals, implementation packages, and provide technical service support for electronic control systems, collaborating with senior engineers to develop more advanced capabilities. The role requires a BS in engineering (or equivalent experience), strong analytical and reporting skills, and proficiency with engineering tools like

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or 6 years related work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret industry docs and write technical reports.
• Ability to perform necessary calculations.
• Advanced PC skills including Visio, Math Lab, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation and enhancement of control system operations.
• Perform routine work with limited supervision to increase product knowledge.
• Assist ISO 9001 audits and maintain design documentation and configuration control.
• Prepare service products and design standards with functional logic and electrical schematics.
• Review operational data to identify benchmarks for control system improvements.
