You will work with controls engineers, project managers, and field teams to develop accurate layouts and schematics.

The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and related software, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple drawings and projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical drafting, design, controls or related drafting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
• Understanding of electrical control components and wiring practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple drawings and projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electrical control-system drawings.
• Develop control panel layouts and enclosure drawings.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and termination drawings.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials.
• Produce drawings for industrial control panels and automation systems.
• Update drawings based on engineering changes and field redlines.
• Prepare final as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate with panel builders to resolve drawing questions.
• Support field installation teams with drawing updates and documentation.
• Maintain drawing standards and document-control procedures.
• Verify drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with component selection and panel layout optimization.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and revision histories.
• Read and create electrical schematics and understand wiring practices.
