Job summary

Cache Valley Electric is seeking a skilled Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels in our Logan, UT facility. You will read schematics, install components, and ensure panels meet drawings, specifications, and UL508A standards.

The role emphasizes quality, organization, and teamwork with safety as a top priority. Prior UL508A experience is preferred; a high school diploma is common; the work is performed in a shop environment with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical or control panel assembly.
• Ability to read basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, drills, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial electrical control panels, enclosures, and subassemblies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of material.
• Install DIN rail, wire duct, terminal blocks, relays, circuit protection devices, power supplies, PLC components, and other control equipment.
• Perform point-to-point wiring according to electrical schematics and drawings.
• Cut, strip, label, terminate, and route control wiring.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and panel shop standards.
