St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Control Room Shift Engineer II to monitor, operate, and maintain complex facility systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and building automation systems.

The role requires a strong safety mindset and hands-on skills with CMMS and BAS platforms in a hospital environment. You will serve as on-site liaison for facilities operations, support maintenance staff, and ensure reliable performance of steam, chilled water, and emergency

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Shift Engineer or Boiler Operator in a hospital or related environment.
Knowledge of design, construction, operation and maintenance of Boilers, Chillers and Cooling Towers.
Licensure: Steam Engineer First Class and Refrigeration Engineer First Class licenses.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal facility performance.
Ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of a facility; emphasize a safety-focused mindset.
Monitor and maintain facility controls and respond to alarms and emergencies.
Oversee installation and modification of new systems and train junior staff.
