Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating and repairing high‑pressure steam boilers and related equipment.
• License requirements: Level I OE-2; Level II CT Heating/Piping/Cooling licenses.
• Ability to understand and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain hospital mechanical systems and equipment; perform basic repairs to ensure functionality.
• Safely operate high‑pressure steam boilers, auxiliary equipment, centrifugal chillers and water towers to provide steam or chilled water.
• Commit to personal growth and competency.
• Contribute to the safe operation of the Plant and Engineering Department.
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
• Demonstrate dependability in job performance.
