Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production.

The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying out device locations on stainless and mild steel enclosures, using plasma cutters and grinders, and ensuring quality within specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year or more experience with metalworking tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+ and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on stainless and mild steel enclosures.
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws for cutouts.
• Use hand/power tools to layout, measure, drill, tap steel plates.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, nameplates.
• Ensure project quality is within specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform tasks within quoted hours for each project.
• Perform additional duties as needed for schedule and timeline.
• Customer site work as needed.
