Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production. The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience using metalworking tools, with strong organizational skills and reliability. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year or more of experience with metalworking tools is required.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship is required.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on enclosures.
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws to make cutouts for devices.
• Use hand and power tools to layout, measure, drill, and tap steel plates.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates.
• Ensure project quality is within the specification.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform tasks within quoted hours for each project.
• Perform additional duties as needed to ensure the project schedule and timeline are met.
• Customer site work as needed.
