Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for second shift production. The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying out devices, using plasma cutting tools, and ensuring quality within specifications while maintaining a safe workspace. Some customer-site work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year or more of experience with metalworking tools required.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on enclosures.
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws for cutouts.
• Use hand and power tools to layout, drill, and tap steel plates.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates.
• Ensure project quality per specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform tasks within quoted hours for each project.
• Perform customer-site work as needed.
