Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production. The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and hands-on experience with metalworking tools. The role includes customer-site work and a strong emphasis on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more of experience with metalworking tools.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on enclosures.
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws to make cutouts.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates.
• Ensure project quality is within the specification.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform tasks within quoted hours for each project.
• Customer site work as needed.
