Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production.

The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of metalworking tools experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year or more of experience with metalworking tools required.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical, observational and listening abilities.
• Reliable with good communication skills (written and verbal).
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stoop, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Manual dexterity is essential for precise fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on stainless and mild steel enclosures.
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills and hole saws for cutouts.
• Use hand and power tools to drill, tap steel plates and assemble.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks and nameplates.
• Ensure project quality meets specifications and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Work on customer sites as needed and meet project timelines.
